What to Expect From Your Mover When They Arrive:

  • Make contact with the client and walk the job to establish a scope of work.

  • Extract all mirrors, pictures and glass and start packing them into the trailer along with mattresses and box springs.

  • Clear all walkways or hallway areas to pull out boxes and place behind truck in a row for packing.

  • Shrink wrap any furniture with doors, drawers. Pad and shrink wrap any furniture with glass or mirror fronts.

  • Begin extraction of all large furniture items i.e armories, dressers, Chester drawers and place them in a line behind the truck for the packer to use as a base.

  • Packer and (HELPER) will begin loading the truck while additional helpers continue to bring items from the house and place in a line behind the truck.

  • Refrigerators and freezers are always last be extracted and the first to be taken off the truck and reconnected in the new home.

  • Patio furniture and garage items are typically the last items to be loaded on the truck.

  • When all items are loaded into the truck the driver will transport them to the new home and establish a plan of action with the homeowner on placement.

  • It is preferred to place all boxes in one area until all furniture has been placed and reassembled. Then all boxes will be hand carried to specified rooms in the house.

  • After all items are properly placed in the new home ALL shrink wrap is removed and any furniture that needs to be reassembled will be done.

  • Last thing, all boxes will be placed in appropriate rooms.

Important Notes:

  1. All boxes must be closed and taped. We cannot handle "open items".

  2. Please remove all valuables/prescription medication/important items(keys/glasses/etc.) prior to arrival. We do not transport those items.

  3. By law we cannot transport any flammable materials( gasoline/Propane gas/ etc.)

  4. We can transport flat screen TV's in the original box only with insurance. As a courtesy we can transport your TV's in a "best effort" without insurance if the original box is not present. We have a 99% success rate with this method. ( After market TV boxes are not considered original factory packaging therefore still fall in the "best effort" uninsurable category)

  5. Please keep all animals/ small children contained for their safety during the moving process.

  6. Try to pack or personally transport all small items.

  7. We do not transport lamps or lamp shades unless they are packed into a sealed box.

  8. Please remove all vehicles/ obstacles from the front of your home prior to your moving crews arrival. ( We almost always park in the front of the house to load/unload)

  9. It's always a good idea to mark furniture/boxes using color codes or number codes designated rooms at the new location for more expedited unloading. (I.E each room has a color/number clearly marked on the door/door frame that coincides with the items going into that room)

  10. Sit back and smile. We will do the rest.
